Google revealed the Nexus 7 a few weeks ago and since then lots of people placed a pre-order on the company’s very first tablet which we’re sure you know that it’s made by Asus. This is the first device to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but it seems that the tablet is far from being perfect as more and more owners have reported that the tablet has some screen issues.

A twitter user with the alias Faux123 has posted a photo with his Nexus 7 which showed a lot of screen bleeding on the left side of the tablet which makes it look pretty much like those cheap tablets made by Chinese manufacturers. On the popular XDA forum some of the users have been complaining that the tablet has a creaky bezel. The good news is that they’ve already found a fix for this issue, and you can read about it by accessing the XDA link at the end of the article.

We don’t know for sure if these are widespread issues taking into account that those on XDA that complained represent only a very small fraction of those that own the Nexus 7. If you encounter issues with your tablet, you’ll have to send it to Asus, not Google. What this means is that you will have to get a return merchandize authorization (RMA) but this cannot be done online since on Asus’ RMA website you will find an option only for the company’s laptops, LCD screens, PDAs and Eee PCs.
